Ms. Salome M. Kagosha: Deputy High Commissioner: We’re very happy to have this day celebrated with actions here in Uganda. All trees grown add to the call of our president HE Dr William Samoel Ruto. The environment must be protected today for the next years’ generations. In Kenya now, everyone is seriously growing trees.
“Not until you dug holes, plant trees, and grow them into a forest. Your work won’t be seen and recognized. Let’s all join hands to grow more trees,”
I am thankful to Million Trees International Organization for this great partnership towards the rescue of Uganda’s Forestry Cover. We’re to grow more trees,” she said.

“it’s now or never! We all must be thinking about environmental protection. As an East African Region, we have greatly registered enough indicators of abnormal climate changes ongoing in our region.
We have seen a lot of droughts in Adu, Magarini Sub-county, Kilifi County and other parts of Kenya.
Uganda recently experienced droughts & famine in Karamoja and Ntoroko districts. This is an indicator that we’re not doing enough,” says Dr Jibril S Owomugisha, Founding Director of Million Trees International Organization
I hereby thank Kenyan President, HE Dr William Samoel Ruto for confronting himself towards environmental protection.
As an organization, we welcome the Kenya High Commission in Uganda to grow more trees through conservation forestry across the country,” adds Dr Jibril.
“As you’re aware, environmental conservation is not limited by physical boundaries or geographical location and efforts to conserve or restore the forest cover in Uganda will benefit Kenya. This is the reason why as Kenyan authorities in Uganda, we’re ready to grow as many trees as possible, and through our partnership with Million Trees International Organization, our objective will be registered,” says Col. Patrick K. Nkaduda, Defense Advisor KHC
