The deputy RDC Entebbe Municipality Hakim Kirigwa joined both MK Youth Group and Kabaale – Katabi PDM Group in Kitubulu Village, Katabi Town Council in Entebbe Sub – District for a Community Cleaning Exercise early this morning.
“Uganda has the world’s youngest Population with over 78 Percent of its Population below the age of 30, therefore, as a country, the government has put in place many programs and projects to empower the Youth; Emyooga, PDM, the Youths have 20 Percent out of this money sent to everyone Parish in Uganda, Youth Livelihood Program (YLP) which focuses on providing the youth with marketable vocational skills and tool kits for self – Employment and Job creation.” Hakim Said
“The NRM Government under the stewardship of H.E Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni have also put in place the Presidential Industrial Hubs in every region for continuous empowerment of the youths in the country.” Kirigwa Noted
“My appeal to the youths is that many opportunities are available, we only need to use them for prosperity rather than wasting energy and time on non-essential issues.” Hakim said
