Thank you so much” He added.
According to SPA/DA Ambassador Walusimbi, The role of the Diaspora in building our nation goes far beyond the substantial remittances sent home. Each one of you, living, working, and flourishing in your respective host countries, are Ambassadors for Uganda. You carry in your hearts the spirit of our nation, and in your actions, you embody our values of resilience, innovation, and communal harmony.
“In my capacity as the Senior Presidential Advisor on Diaspora Affairs, I am committed to ensuring that your voices are heard and your contributions recognized. Our office is open to all as liaisons between H.E. the President and different government arms. We are here to support, guide, and collaborate with you in strengthening our nation’s roots and expanding its reach” Amb. Walusimbi said.
“The Diaspora’s role in promoting our country for tourism, trade, and investment cannot be underestimated. As you share the good news of Uganda with the world, you not only attract visitors but also potential investors who can significantly contribute to our national development.
A prosperous Uganda means more jobs, a stronger economy, an improved education system, and a better life for all our citizens” He revealed.
“The power of the Diaspora lies in its diversity and dynamism. And so, I urge you all to continue to use your unique positions, skills, and networks to promote Uganda and all its potential. As we look towards the future, let us remember that our strength lies in our unity. Despite the miles that separate us, we remain one people, with one heart, beating for one Uganda” He added.
“I would like to say that we are not just a diaspora; we are a diaspora united in purpose. Let us continue to be the bridge that connects Uganda to the world, the Ambassadors who represent our nation’s best, and the force that propels our country towards prosperity. Together, we will build a Uganda that we all can be proud of. For a prosperous Uganda is not just a dream, but a future that is within our reach” Amb. Walusimbi Concludes.
