The NRA/M Liberation Day is celebrated every year on 26 January to remind Ugandans and all peace-loving people around the world of the tremendous sacrifice that Gen. (Rtd) Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, now president and his compatriots undertook to liberate Uganda from dictatorship.
This has been revealed by the Minister for Presidency and Chairperson of the National Organising Committee, Hon. Babirye Milly Babalanda on her official Twitter (X) Account.
“Countrymen and Countrywomen, on Monday, January 22, 2024, at the Uganda Media Centre in Kampala, I will update the nation on preparations for the 38th Liberation Day celebrations to be held at St. Johns Wakitaka Secondary School in Jinja City on Friday, January 26, 2024.
