Hon Ruth Katushabe the Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs and Translations together with her Agriculture counterpart Ms Rose Kabagyenyi have today joined the masses of Universal Apostles Fellowship Church of the Righteousness in Jinja City in a praise and worship session to thank God for the good he has done to this Country under the leadership of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
The two leaders came to the church shortly after their visit to the Presidential industrial skilling hub in the city where hundreds of youths from allover Busoga region are being equipped with practical skills that can help them secure job opportunities and transform Busoga community.
They were warmly welcomed by the masses who tasked them to deliver their message of applaud to President Museveni for the peace, stability and economic transformation in Busoga and Uganda at large.
Speaking to the masses, Hon Ruth Katushabe the Senior Presidential Advisor thanked the believers of Universal Apostles Fellowship Church for always putting God first in whatever they do and especially sparing time on a Sunday to come to church and praise the Lord. She used the opportunity to thank the Lord for blessing Uganda with a had working visionary leader President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who liberated Uganda in 1986 from the bloody hands of bad leaders and immediately kicked off with the task of transforming the country for the better.
” For all of us here, we are able to praise the lord and shout at the top of our voices because we are sure we shall return home safely. We should thank the Lord for blessing us with a visionary leader who restored peace and security in this country.” Hon Katushabe said
Hon Katushabe preached the President’s message for social economic transformation where she asked the masses to take advantage of the different poverty eradication programs like Emyooga and PDM to uplift their lives with in their communities. She also tasked the people to report any leader who is involved in any form of corruption as these bad leaders doing their sins independently and later blame the President for failing to offer services to his people
” The corrupt are always among us. We should report these bad people. Whenever you don’t see drugs in hospitals or a road poorly made then you should know that some one ate the money or stole the drugs. Don’t keep quiet , blow the whistles.” The Presidential advisor added.
Hon Katushabe further asked the people to support the government in her efforts in fighting poverty adding that the war on poverty can not be won by only leaders at the top but rather a joint force of leaders and the people.
Hon Rose Kabagyenyi the Senior Presidential Advisor on Agriculture also empahised on the matter of fighting corruption which has become a perennial disease in society. She also asked the masses to be involved in government programs like Emyooga and PDM as these will help bring a big percentage of the population innto the money economy.
