AKAMPA TANBULL: Sanctions on African Leaders are Meant to Keep Africa as an Underdog!

Well, a few days ago, the UK Government through its Minister of Foreign Affairs released a statement on their official website claiming to sanction Hon Nandutu,  Hon Gitutu, and Rt Hon Annet Anitah Among others over corruption.

Whereas Gitutu and Nandutu are in Courts of Law, the Speaker of Parliament of Uganda, Rt Hon Anitah Among is being targeted for her bold stand against Homosexuality, nothing else! Given the fact that she has no Court case ongoing and has never even been charged in any court case for her entire life.

There is also sponsored media propaganda claiming that UAE authorities have also slapped sanctions on her, but there is no document or official communication from UAE authorities! The move is deliberate to portray that the reason is not just about her bold stand against Homosexuality.

The gullible population especially those on social media are celebrating, they are like monkeys who celebrated when the forest was burnt, forgetting it’s where they dwell!

Yet they are being turned against their leaders! Their shallow and narrow brains are telling them that these foreigners like them more than their selfish interests!

Africans might wake up when it is already late! They will be re-colonized!

UK sanction regime is devoid of an extremely small amount of fairness because it has deliberately left out proven cases of corruption in developed countries. It is as if the poor countries have no sovereignty.
Can a legal instrument of the UK waive the legal system of another country like Uganda? Can they apply what they have done to Ugandan senior leaders or other leaders in China, Russia, Israel, or the USA?

As a patriotic Ugandan, I joined the rest of Ugandans who still believe that our leaders can be made to account to us by ourselves not the British and so I can’t celebrate when the speaker of our Parliament or even the President or Chief Justice or Vice President or CDF is being attacked by foreign forces. I would continue to defend them up to the bone marrow.
