BURIAL PROGRAM RELEASED: Former Presidential Press Secretary, Joseph Tamale Mirundi to be laid to rest this Sunday

The former Senior Presidential Press Secretary, Joseph Tamale Mirundi will be laid to rest on Sunday, 18th August, 2024.

This is according to the burial program released by Haiji Faruk Kirunda, the Deputy Presidential Press Secretary.

Mr. Mirundi passed on yesterday from Kisubi Hospital where he had been hospitalized for over a month.

According to Hajji Faruk Kirunda, there will be a Vigil and mass at the deceased’s Zana Residence on Wednesday 14th August 2024.

“On Thursday 15th August 2024 there will be a requiem Mass at St. Gyaviira Catholic Church Bunamwaya at 10:00 am, then the body taken to Zana Residence for Overnight Vigil,” he said.

“And on Friday 16th August, the body will taken to Kyengera Residence for Mass at 10:00 am and Overnight Vigil.”

On Saturday 17th August 2024, the body will leave for Kalagala Village in Kaliisizo, Rakai District for Vigil.

“The burial Ceremony will start at 10:00 am at Kalagala Village, Kaliisizo in Rakai District on Sunday 18th August,2024.”
